Ford XY GT wrap

This Ford XY GT Replica vehicle wrap was one of the first of its kind in Australia. Using the first rolls of 3M Brushed Steel vinyl and 3M Black Carbon Fibre in the country, a true pioneer of its class. It has been published in magazines like Street Machine and Muscle Ford, it won the “Artistic Expression” award in Summernats 2012 held in Canberra.

The project involved many late nights, matching the vinyl finish to the cars reputation of being one of the most iconic Australian muscle cars, it had to be perfect. So perfect, that when it was unveiled at Summernats the onlookers were stumped as to how it was enduring the weather in its raw metal state.

The complex square shape and seamless panels proved to be a challenge and main discussion point in the planning process, the results are stunning with the linish texture in the vinyl hiding all the joins and making this car appear as though it were cast out of the one mould.

We knew taking this project on would prove to be a challenge, but the good jobs usually are. There’s alot of planning that goes on behind the scenes and not without a little trial and error. Our customers don’t see these hurdles because at time of delivery we make sure its right and the customer is completely happy with the job as was the case with this one.

As well as working on one-offs vehicle wraps for our customers, we are also able to offer fleet branding solutions, giving your entire fleet of vehicles that professional touch. It’s sure to boost your enquiries for your business and is a highly effective from of advertising. Call us today to find out more!
